Fairview Spring Day of Caring

June 1st and 2nd, 2007

Presented through the partnership of United Way of Anchorage, the Municipality of Anchorage, and the Fairview Community Council

Ready with shovels, gloves, paint, hands, and hearts, nearly 600 Day of Caring volunteers from throughout the community are expected to come together June 1st and 2nd to celebrate volunteerism and civic participation by beautifying and thus strengthening the neighborhood of Fairview

Since 1992, the Day of Caring has brought together thousands of volunteers from local businesses and organizations to work on projects that improve our community.

Have your team come join us, get your fingers a little dirty, and help make Fairview a strong and vibrant neighborhood.  Your team can consist of 1 person or it can have as many as 100 people.

If your organization would like to volunteer, coordinators are asked to provide preferred dates and shifts and the number of volunteers expected to Sue Brogan as soon as possible.  Please complete and submit attached   Company Registration Form to Sue Brogan at 263-3801 (fax) or email sbrogan@ak.org

(*All work will be done outdoors through both light and physical labor.  Examples of duties include lifting, digging, painting, pruning, and planting.)
